I’m Sumit,

My journey didn’t start with screens or software.

Hi there! I’m Sumit,
My journey didn’t start with screens or software.

It started with curiosity — understanding how people think, decide, and navigate complexity.
Design became the tool I use to bring clarity to that chaos.

I design digital products built on clarity, structure, and thoughtful decision-making. Beyond deliverables, I experiment with interaction, systems, and meaningful user flows.

Early Years — Childhood

Where imagination felt natural

My story began with paper, pencils, and a world that felt intuitive. Drawing was the one place where I felt confident—sketching machines that didn’t need wheels and worlds that didn’t exist yet. Over time, that curiosity was noticed. Recognition mattered, but what stayed with me was the comfort of expressing ideas visually.

Growing Curiosity — Teenage Years

Screens, systems, and silent questions

As curiosity moved from paper to screens, I became fascinated by interaction—motion, touch, and structure. I often wondered who decided how things behaved and why they felt intuitive. I didn’t know the word “design” then, but I was already drawn to clarity, structure, and intentional composition.

Finding Direction — College

From engineering to intention

College began with computer science, but I was drawn more to problem-solving than code itself. I enjoyed understanding systems and patterns while shaping how things looked and felt. Experiences in student leadership and internships strengthened my sense of ownership and collaboration. Over time, design became less of an interest and more of a natural way of thinking.

Now — Still Becoming

Learning, refining, and staying curious

Today, I value simplicity before complexity and thinking before building. I learn continuously—from books, films, and conversations—to improve how I frame problems and make decisions. I’m curious about how systems work, how stories are told over time, and how good design quietly shapes human experience. I’m not chasing hype—only clarity, calm, and meaningful work.
